The Ultra-Low Flush controller can initiate a flush every 7 days so that the standing water in the cistern and flush pipes will be regularly 'purged', thus usually avoiding the need to carry out a dead-leg procedure to minimise the risk of legionella. This controllers is also used in conjunction with Gentworks Urinal Maintenance Devices operating in waterless mode for sites where the weekly dosing procedure is difficult to adhere to. For example, if the expectation is that urinals may only be dosed with Bactericidal Cleaner every 2 to 3 weeks rather than weekly, then the Ultra-Low Flush controller will help to ensure that debris is flushed away regularly. This is not as effective as weekly dosing but is a good compromise.
